Srinivasan Pandiarajan is an alpha-taxonomist with expertise in aquatic macroinvertebrates, with a particular focus on the taxonomy, systematics, and biogeography of mayflies. The research initially concentrated on the Western Ghats mayflies but has now expanded to encompass other regions of India and the Oriental realm.
